Houseguests must search the freezing pool of water for puzzle piece in their designated color and then use them to create a path which they must connect in sequence. Once their path is complete, they must race back down with a container, fill it with water, and bring it back to the top to fill a tube. When they have filled their tube with enough water, they will be able to retrieve a flare. The first Houseguest to retrieve and light their flare wins part 1 of Head of Household.
